Ian Daniels always had a passion for painting. It was evident in his early Kent, England home where he first explored his love of nature and stories through painting and drawing.
Today, his passion is evident in the jewel encrusted dream-scapes he paints. Azure skies, emerald rivers and amber forests adorn his crystalline paintings. And softly, through the diamond starred night, a faery strolls through midnight orchards, her wings dripping pearls like passion. Thus is the treasure trove realm of Ian Daniels. Since graduating from the Kent Institute of Art and Design in 1995, Ian's original art and illustrations have been seen in a myriad of colorful places. Illustration projects range from children's fairytales to gothic romance, including bookcovers for authors Edgar Allen Poe, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Orson Scott Card and Poul Anderson Two collections of fairytales, 'Classic Celtic Fairytales' and 'Tales of the Celtic Otherworld' feature many of his ethereal canvases. Working in a number of media including watercolor, acrylic and oil, Ian often creates a world in which we'd hope to live. We would like to extend an invitation to amble through that gem garden: Duirwaigh now offers a home to all of Ian's original paintings, and is pleased to publish his images on fine art prints, posters and greeting cards.
